What is a Lunch and Learn?
A Lunch and Learn Seminar is a casual and informative way to explore what pre-planning final wishes is all about.
The number of individuals electing to pre-plan their final wishes has increased year after year. But in talking with our neighbors in Clarke, Madison, Oconee, and Oglethorpe Counties, we find that so many would like to know more about what’s involved with pre-arranging final wishes but don’t know the best way to go about it – and most are not going to walk into a funeral home and begin asking questions.
To make it easy, and perhaps even a little enjoyable, we hold Lunch and Learn events throughout the year at various local restaurants in the different counties we serve.
Small Groups, Free Lunch, & Lots of Information
The Lunch and Learn program is a casual and relaxed luncheon that we hold at local restaurants about once a month. Our Pre-Planning Specialist brings together about 25 people at a time who are interested in learning more about pre-arranging or pre-funding their final wishes. The groups are small, the setting is relaxed, and the presentations are easy to follow and understand. Questions are encouraged throughout the program.
After our short presentation (45 minutes or so), visitors get a great lunch and have a chance to ask any questions that come to mind. The group setting often sparks new questions and leads to new topics of conversation — ideal for getting the most out of a short time to meet.
Afterwards, those in attendance can schedule an appointment to meet with our Pre-Planning Specialist to complete a Final Wishes Organizer.
