Timothy Lee Ashurst, Sr.

Timothy Lee Ashurst, Sr., died Saturday, July 25, 2020. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late James Wentland Ashurst and Martha Caroline Allen Ashurst and brother to the late John Ashurst.

Mr. Ashurst retired from the US Postal Service as a letter carrier and served in the US Navy.

Survivors include three children: Kristine Marie (Paul J.) Dooley of Dawsonville, Karen Sue (Steven) Bridenbaugh of Bogart and Timothy Lee Ashurst, Jr. of Wake Forest, NC; sister: Virginia A. (Brad) Waldron of Monticello, FL; fifteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11AM at Oconee Memorial Park with Rev. Gerald Meredith officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your local humane society.
