Thomas Phillip Roberts

Thomas Phillip Roberts, 65, of Colbert, lost his battle with tongue and throat cancer on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.

Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Geneva “Dinky” Cape. Thomas was a Painting Contractor for over 40 years before retiring in 2018. He was an avid Florida Gators fan and his favorite hobby was riding his 2017 Harley Davidson Streetglide “Lady Blue”.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Sorrow Roberts; daughter, Angela Roberts Zenus; son, Justin Roberts; stepson, Wes Garrett (Ansleigh); grandchildren, Kendall, Griffin and McKenna Zenus and Ghemma Roberts.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow in the Winterville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Hart, Keith Hart, Wes Garrett, Kenneth Jordan, Jamie Sproull and David Slayton. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 1:30 pm at the funeral home.
