Thomas Lamar Palmer

Thomas Lamar Palmer, 59, husband of 35 years to Donna Murray Palmer, died Friday, November 29, 2019.

Born in Athens, GA he was the son of Sulene Palmer Colquitt and the late Ernest Palmer. He enjoyed the outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman.  Lamar always put others first and was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather and brother.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include five children: Will (Chelsea) Palmer, Daniel (Melissa) Palmer, Hannah (DJ) Bugh, Colton Palmer and Callie Palmer; siblings: David (Jeanne) Palmer, Annette (Danny) Tucker and Nathan (Rhonda) Palmer; grandsons: Ben Palmer, Hamilton Bugh and Rhett Sharp; nieces, nephews and grandnieces, grandnephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 4PM at Sonlight Baptist Church with Rev. John Reynolds officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Myelin Repair Foundation, 20111 Edinburgh Drive,  Saratoga, CA 95070 which is a charitable Multiple Sclerosis organization that supports research for all neurological diseases.
