Ruby Mitchem Poulnott

Ruby Mitchem Poulnott, 79, of Bogart, passed peacefully on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Born on September 13, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Houston Mitchem and Hazel Riddle Frye.

Ruby was a long-time member of Living Word Baptist Church in Bogart. She dedicated her life to church and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Poulnott; son, Roger Franklin; two sisters; one brother.

Survivors include her children, Wayne Franklin of Morganton, NC, Randy Franklin of Lenoir, NC, Kimberly Lackey of Athens, GA; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; one sister.

Funeral services for Ruby will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 11:00 am at Living Word Baptist Church in Bogart with pastors Larry Davison and Gordon Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
