Peggy Ann Barber

Peggy Ann Barber, 61, of Martin, Georgia passed away on May 30, 2021. Born on April 4, 1960, she was the daughter of Margaret Robinson Hamrick and the late Fredrick Elliott.

Peggy worked at Home Depot for over 25 years and loved her Home Depot family. While Crocheting and Gardening were her passions, she also enjoyed cooking, especially with the grandkids.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sister, Nancy Wade; Brother, Jack Elliott.

Survivors include her husband, John Ernest Barber; children, Keri Arthur, JeriLea “Jelly” Arthur, Molli Holcomb (Tanner), Alex Barber; mother, Margaret Hamrick; grandchildren, Aiden Kenny, Gracie Tankersley, Cole Tankersley, Easton Shepherd, Addisyn “Lilli” Shepherd, Lincoln Holcomb; siblings, Jackie Simmons, Clay Elliott, Ongie Veldhuizen.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Toccoa, GA. A reception will be held in the fellowship hall following the celebration of life for all family and friends to attend.
