Patricia Sue Davis

April 16, 1949-July 9, 2021

Patricia Sue Davis, of Bogart, GA, passed away peacefully after an intense short illness on July 9, 2021, at Piedmont Hospital, Athens, GA.

Patricia was born in Rice Lake, WI on April 15, 1949, to Maurice and Lillian (Boetcher) Secore.  She married Charles A. Davis in Dunwoody, GA on September 10, 1993.  Patricia had one son, Andrew J. Rainville.

Patricia was employed by Kroger as a manager and her last position was the church accountant at First Assembly of God, Wilkes-Barre, PA.  She enjoyed going to church, baking, hosting holiday parties, travelling, reading the Bible, loved a good conversation, and being with family.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Charlie; son, Andrew (Sheila); two grandchildren Brandon Tucker and Hunter Rainville; two sisters, Susan Francis; Mary (Edward) Mays; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Lillian Secore, sister Darla Jenson, and sister Judith Colbert.

A viewing will be held at the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, 4355 Lexington Rd., Athens, GA 30605 on Monday, July 19, 2021, from 6pm to 9pm.

The funeral service will be at Grace Fellowship Church, 1120 Malcom Bridge Rd., Bogart, GA 30622 on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 1 pm. with Pastor Tony Vismor officiating.

Internment will take place at the veterans’ section of Athens Memory Gardens, 5195 Lexington Rd., Athens, GA 30605 following the service.
