Marie Freeman Hardigree

Marie Hardigree, 95, of Bogart, died on January 18, 2021.

She was born on December 12, 1925, to Joe Cepheus and Polly Mae Reynolds Freeman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Hardigree. She is survived by sons Ricky (Janice) Hardigree of Bogart and Mike Hardigree of Hull. Her sister, Shirley Dodd of Durham, North Carolina, formerly of Bogart. Grandchildren, Amy Hardigree Aycock (Scott), Adam Hardigree (Jill), Melissa Hardigree Pilsner (Ryan), Joseph Hardigree (Priscilla), and Jessica Hardigree Stephenson (Adam). Also left to cherish her memory are 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She loved baking cakes to sell, cooking, and yard sales. She was a longtime member of Bethabara Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Judy Bruebaker for the great care she provided, Mechelle Griggs of Always Caring Home Care, Homestead Hospice, and her sister, Shirley & niece, Susie, who were always helping her out.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethabara Baptist Church, 4651 Monroe Hwy, Statham, Georgia.
