Larry W. Roberts, 69, of Watkinsville passed away on Monday September 6, 2021. Born on October 26, 1951, he was the son of the late Talmadge Roberts and Margie Bruce Roberts.

Larry’s favorite place to be was anywhere his family was. He loved watching Georgia football games with his grandsons. He enjoyed the monthly breakfast with Cindy, his daughters and sons-in-law and family game night. He was a 1971 graduate of Oconee Co. High School and played on the first high school football team. Larry was also a charter member at Trinity Baptist Church

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Meeler.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Cindy Roberts; daughters, Jennifer Brugh (Daniel), Missy Krumm (Eric); grandchildren, Isaac, Tyler, Hunter, Clayton, Joana, Caitlynn, Anna-Kate, Emma.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at Oconee Memorial Park with Pastors Jason Smith and David Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Oconee Chapel located at 2370 Hwy 53 Watkinsville, GA.
