Kenneth Atterberry

Kenneth Atterberry, 82, of Athens, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022. Born on June 25, 1939, he was the son of the late Lloyd Cecil Atterberry and Gertrude Spain Atterberry.

Ken was a veteran of both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy. He was a very giving person and was always willing to help others. He loved to play golf, being at the beach and most of all loved his family. His face would light up when he spoke to his sons who would call regularly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Atterberry; nephew, Greg Atterberry.

Survivors include his sons, Ken Atterberry (Laurie), Kevin Atterberry, Robbie Atterberry; companion, Donna Forster; grandchildren, Kristine Atterberry, Michael Atterberry, Jasmine Campbell; nephews, Kenny Atterberry and Mike Atterberry.
