Joseph A. Patat, Jr.

Joseph A. Patat, Jr., 72, of Athens died on December 28, 2020. The son of the late Joseph A Patat Sr. And the late Ruth A Self. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Paula Patat, and Peggy price, his brothers, Dwight Everhart, Larry Self, and Coil Patat. He was also survived by his brother James E Patat of Bonaire, his sisters Ann Thurmond of Carlton, Nadine Warlick of Kathleen, Mary Normand of Byron, and Cathy Rainbow of Macon and several nieces and nephews
Please join us in celebrating Joe's life on Saturday June 26th 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Athens Moose Lodge 185 Ben Burton Road Bogart Georgia 30622. The Reverend Victor Appling will officiate. Joe was a long time resident of Athens Georgia. He had worked for the Athens-Clarke County Public Utilities Department as a water- meter reader for more than 30 years, until November of 2000. He was loved by many who he touched through his teddy bear Ministries and his numerous puppet shows with his handmade puppets. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers please donate to one of his favorite charities. Toys for Tots or the Clark County Family and Children Services kids without Christmas.
