Jesse Willard Fortner

Jesse Willard “Junior” Fortner, Jr., 73, husband of 54 years to Della Woods Fortner, died Friday, January 22, 2021. Born in Stockton, CA, he was the son of the late Jesse Willard Fortner, Sr. and Lena Maxwell Fortner.  Junior had worked as a carpenter and was a member of New Life Apostolic Church.  Survivors in addition to his wife include three children: Daniel (June) Fortner, Anthony (Leah) Fortner, LaDonna (Chad) Warner; siblings: Loretta Lillard, James Fortner, Lavoy Fortner, Mike Fortner, Darlene Frazier, Gary Fortner; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.  The family will receive friends Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 1PM until 3PM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel. A private family service will be held. Interment will be at Eternal Hills Cemetery. Lord and Stephens WEST is in charge of arrangements.  www.lordandstephens.com
