Jean Hutchins Wilson

Jean Hutchins Wilson, 72, of Athens passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020. Born on June 7, 1948 in Athens, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Maggie Hutchins. Jean was a long-time member of Prospect United Methodist Church. She never met a stranger, would help anyone out as much as she could and always had a smile on her face no matter what ailed her. One of her true passions was caring for her two cats, Sassy and Shadow.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, David Hutchins; aunts, Inez Whitehead and Fannie Bell Hollis.

Survivors include her children, Cindy Colquitt (Danny) and Daniel Allen; grandchildren, Blake Allen, Hayden Colquitt, Katie Colquitt, Corey Allen, Sophia Allen, Jessica Allen, Madisyn Allen; great grandchildren, Gabriel Taylor, Paisley Colquitt, Ian Colquitt, Benjamin Allen, Kyler Allen.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery.
