Hassie Ruth Rice Seagraves

Hassie Ruth Rice Seagraves, 89, of Danielsville, passed away on January 13, 2023.
Born in Madison County on September 16, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Roy Rice, Sr and Annie Maude Glenn Rice.
She was a member of Moons Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Seagraves is survived by her 4 daughters and their spouses, Annette Seagraves (Mark Hazuka) of Colorado Springs, Montie Burroughs (Mike) of Danielsville, Sylvia Thornton (Joe) of Winterville, and Sharon Foster (Ron) of Danielsville; grandchildren and their spouses, Christopher Burroughs (Wendy), Carrie Brown (Nate), Boomer Preston (Michaela Cioffi), Peyton Foster (Atlanta), Landon Foster, Joely Thornton, Joshua Thornton and Jessica Douglass (Michael) and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother and sister-in-law, GT and Geraldine Seagraves and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Moons Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tracey Deavers officiating.
Pallbearers are her grandsons, Christopher Burroughs, Boomer Preston, Peyton Foster and Landon Foster and her nephews, Nelson Carey and Nolan Carey.
