Frances Cornelia Nunn

Frances Cornelia Nunn, 77, wife of 50 years to David Thomas Nunn, died on Monday, May 15, 2023. Born July 1, 1945 in Greensboro, GA, Cornelia was preceded in death by her parents, Hallie Fouche and Cammie Cornelia Fouche as well as two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors in addition to her husband David include one sister, Martha Fouche and several nieces and nephews. Cornelia was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, art projects and cooking. She was a member of Athens West Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 3PM at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA with Pastor David Dann officiating. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Darren McElroy, Steve Archer, Ray Akridge, Chip Chandler, Chris Chandler and Tony Elliott. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 at Oconee Chapel on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
