Deborah "Debbie" Preston Crawford

Deborah “Debbie” P. Wilkins-Crawford, cherished wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the age of 70.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Gordon Byron Preston and Dora Hall Preston. Debbie was employed at Dupont for 23 years and then with the Clarke County School District for 12 years.

Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, Berry “Chip” Crawford; devoted and loving son, Jeffrey E. Wilkins of Athens; loving son and caregiver, Justin Wilkins (Alexis) of Eugene, OR and step-son, Jason Crawford of Columbia, SC; sisters, Donna Vance (Danny) of Simpsonville, SC; Lynne Willis (Ronnie) of Easley, SC; Terry Ballew of Easley, SC and Paige Hamrick (Garrison) of Indian Land, SC and four grandsons, Carter Crawford, Colby Crawford and Corin Crawford all of Lexington, SC and Dietrich Ferjentsik of Eugene, OR.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 7, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
