David Maurice Royster

David Maurice Royster, 46, beloved son, father, and grandfather passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2021 in Athens, GA.

David  was born in Ogden, Utah on August 16, 1974.  David grew up in Niceville and participated in NVLL baseball and PAL soccer, as a player and referee.  He graduated from Niceville High School in 1992 where he was a member of the golf team and AFROTC.  He briefly attended Florida A & M University  before beginning  his career in the food and beverage industry.

David is survived by his daughter, Whitley Cato (Daniel), mother, Kathleen Royster (Charles), granddaughter Zoe, brother Aaron (Alma), sister April (Nick), and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

David is preceded in death by his son, David Alexander Royster, his father, Roger Royster and brother Danny Royster.

David’s smile, laughter and sense of humor will not be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
