Charlotte Caver Cobb

Charlotte Caver Cobb, 88, of Watkinsville, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021.

Born in Wedowee, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Royce Caver and Audrey Haynes Caver. Mrs. Cobb dedicated her life to her family and her children as a stay-at-home mother. She enjoyed sewing, reading and most importantly, she thrived on time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cobb was a longtime member of Fairfield Highlands Methodist Church in Midfield, Alabama. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Francis Cobb; two daughters, Deborah Cobb Muir and Donna Cobb Morris and one sister, Virginia Caver Camp.

Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Cobb Gober; one sister, Lavelle Caver Finlayson; four grandchildren, Christopher Gober (Lauren), Michael Gober (Georgia), Amanda Muir and Abby Muir; five great-grandchildren, Memphis, Cali, Phoenix, Carson and Bennett Gober and two sons-in-law, Loring Muir and Mike Morris.

Memorial services for Mrs. Cobb will be Monday, July 19, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, West. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
