Cameron Tyler Woodall

August 22, 1986 — May 22, 2020

Athens, GA

Cameron Tyler Woodall , age 33, died on Friday May 22,2020. He was born on August 22,1986 in Carrollton, Georgia, but later moved to Oconee County. Cameron was the son of Roy and Cindy Lovvorn Woodall. In addition to his parents he was survived by two siblings whom he loved dearly. His older sister Rori Shelton, brother in law Jason, and their children Grady, Gavin, and Kenna Grace. His older brother, Thomas Woodall, and sister in law Ashley, and their daughters Audrey and Charlie. Cameron also had his four-legged companion Maggie Mae, an English Bulldog.

Cameron was a 2004 graduate of Oconee High School. Afterwards, he attended the University of Georgia where he obtained his undergraduate degrees in Sports Management and Information Technology. He later went back to UGA and graduated with a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Analytics and Operations, from the Terry School of Business. Cameron used his computer knowledge and business skills to work for Black and Veach, UPS, and Tucker Door and Trim. He returned to UGA in 2017, and received a Masters Degree in Accounting.

Cameron loved baseball, golf, and pro football. He and his dad share many fond memories of attending the Masters Golf Tournament as well as attending retirement luncheons for Greg Maddox, Tom Glavine, and John Smoltz of the Atlanta Braves. They also traveled to attend the induction of Bobby Cox, Greg Maddow and Tom Glavine into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Cameron was a quiet, humble, and unassuming young man with a kind heart and sweet spirit. He would help anyone, but would never ask for help for himself. He has left an empty space in our family and in our hearts, but we will love him forever.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention-Georgia, 1920 Dresden Drive #191591  Atlanta, GA 31119.
