Calvin Pritchett

Wade Calvin Pritchett, 81, of Winterville, died on Thursday, July 2, 2020.

Born in Franklin County, Georgia, to the late Jimmy Thomas Pritchett and Eugenia Ruth Arthur Pritchett, Calvin lived in Oglethorpe County for 50 years. He worked as a farmer and was known for his witty sense of humor. He loved to tell tall tales and make everyone around him laugh.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Sorrells Pritchett, and four sisters and three brothers.

He is survived by his two daughters, Vickie (Rick) Parker and Beverly (Terry) Payne, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 6, at Double Churches community cemetery, 4821 GA-198, Carnesville, GA at 11:00 a.m.
