Beverly Forsman Alley

Beverly Forsman Alley, formerly of Gainesville, GA, Macon, GA, and Sandy Springs, GA passed away peacefully at Sweet Olive Farm in Winterville, GA on May 30, 2022, at the age of 90 years old.  Beverly was born on December 26, 1931, in Boise, Idaho, to parents Harold and Kathryn Forsman (predeceased 1994 and 2005).  She was predeceased (2000) by her loving husband of 47 years, Alexander Kelley Alley, Jr.  “Meme” is lovingly remembered by her children, Kat Howkins and Susan Pritchett, Ruthy and Scott Cunningham, Carol and Jerry Sweeney, and Alex and Rachel Alley; grandchildren John and Natalie Howkins, Kate and Steven Velez, May Milkins, Alexis and Jake Portrait, Robby Cunningham, Russell Cunningham, James Cunningham, Tommy and Lindsey Cunningham, Taylor and Emily Sweeney, Jeremy and Brittnie Sweeney, Cody and Julia Sweeney, Beth Sweeney, Maggie Alley, and Alex Alley; great grandchildren, Jack and Sam Howkins, Alexander, Quinn, and Pierce Velez, Poppy Lou Portrait, Karsyn and Brooks Sweeney, Emerson Sweeney, and Caroline Sweeney.

Beverly was a loving mother and grandmother, faithful church member at Christ Lutheran Church in Oakwood, GA, especially her knitting group and WELCA circle, and dedicated volunteer at NE Georgia Medical Center.  Her family will forever be touched by her love and devotion as their matriarch, and all who knew her will remember her beautiful smile.

There will be a visitation at Christ Lutheran Church, 3612 Old Oakwood Road, Oakwood, GA  30566, at 10:30am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am on June 3, 2022, reception and burial following.
