Alphonse “AL” Bruno

Alphonse “AL” Bruno was born in Brooklyn, New York. Raised and educated through the Hawthorne, New Jersey school system. Longtime Palm Beach, Florida resident. Lived in Greensboro, Georgia, and recently Watkinsville, Georgia.

He was the former President and Founder of the South Florida Pawn Brokers Association and a former Greene County Band Booster Presidents. A avid angler and Greene County Cattleman.

A Mass will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021, 4:00 pm at St. Josephs Catholic Church.

Survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 65 years, Marie Bruno. Three children:

Martin Anthony Bruno (Michele), Dr. Gloria Bruno Hood (Robert Charles), & Dr. Maryann Bruno, four grandchildren: Elianna Nicole Bruno Bisogno (Marco)

Matthew “Matt” Bruno, Timothee M. Merkel & Elizabeth “Liza” Merkel, and three great-grandsons.
