William Bruce Willis

William Bruce Willis, 71, of Danielsville, GA, passed away on July 29, 2025. A Georgia native, he was the son of the late William Clarence Willis and Doris Nell Willis. William is remembered lovingly by his family and friends and is preceded in death by his siblings: Keith Willis, Lynn Willis, Nicky Willis, Judy Gosnell, and his grandson, Brodye Willis.

William was a passionate sports fan who enjoyed playing softball and watching Nascar. He found joy in fishing and spent many happy hours outdoors. His professional life included a dedicated 29-year career at Vend Food Service in Athens. In addition to his career, William was proud to serve as a Volunteer Firefighter for the Poca Volunteer Fire Department in Madison County. His commitment to service extended to his faith, as he was a devoted member of Providence Baptist Church for over 40 years.

William is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Willis; their children, Chris (Joanna) Willis and Brice (Crystal) Willis; grandchildren Cody Willis, Dane (Samantha) Willis, and Allie Willis; as well as his great-grandchild, Oaklynn Willis. He is also survived by his siblings: David Willis, Toni Bolling, Nita Pless, and Ricky Willis.

A memorial service will take place at Providence Baptist Church, August 9, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM. The family requests guests dress in casual attire.
