William Avery "Bill" Bryant Jr

William A. "Bill" Bryant, Jr., 53, died Saturday, September 3, 2011.

Born in Athens, GA, he was the son of W. A. "Billy" Bryant, Sr. of Lexington and the late Carolyn Maxwell Bryant. He is predeceased by the mother of his children, Virginia "Ginny" Penn Bryant Embler. He was the owner of BOSS Environmental, LLC. Bill was a lifelong member of Salem Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon.

He is survived by his father, Billy Bryant and his friend June Arnold; his daughter Charlie Martz (husband Josh) of Eatonton, son Wheeler Bryant of Tampa, and daughter Morgan Robinson (husband Seth) of Bethlehem; his sisters Carolyn Faz (husband John) of Crawford, and Rita Harwood (husband George) of Athens.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Salem Baptist Church, Lexington, with Rev. Brett Mask directing the eulogy. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2011 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church Missions Fund, 694 Salem Church Road, Lexington, GA 30648.
