Wesley Leon Price

Wesley Leon Price, 75 of Union Point, passed away May 29, 2017. He was the son of the late, Wesley & Mourine Price; also preceded in death by his sisters, Louise Tankersley and Geneva Price. Mr. Price was a member and attended Macedonia Baptist Church in Greene County. He was a US veteran with the US Army and served during the Vietnam War. Mr. Price worked as a brick mason and a chicken farmer for several years.
Graveside services Thursday June 1, 2017 2:00pm at Athens Memory Gardens with Rev. Eric Buffington officiating. The family will visit at the funeral home from 1:00pm until 1:45.
Survivors include: Wife, Betty Ann Swann Price; daughter, Beth (Lynn) Taylor; nieces and nephews, Kay Rich, Karen Swann, Ben Tankersley, Jim Markert and Henry T. Swann, III.
Pallbearers are: Donnie Cloud, Tommy Thomas, Adrian Venton, David Thomas, Roger Smith and Ronnie Silvy.
