Anthony Wayne Adkins, 69, of Hull, died on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
Wayne was born in Athens to the late Matt Oneal Adkins and Evelyn Cook Adkins. He lived in the Athens area for most of his life and served his country in the United States Army. Wayne loved collecting and was an avid Georgia Bulldawgs and Elvis fan.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Franklin Oneal Adkins.
Wayne is survived by his sons: Michael Adkins, Kenneth Adkins, and Nathan Brooks; brothers Johnny Matt (Debbie) Adkins and Steven Layne (Nancy) Adkins; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 23, at Evergreen Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
