Wade Patterson

Wade Patterson, 62, of Comer, passed away on December 22, 2025.

Born in Athens, GA, he was the son of William Telvie Patterson and Runita Jane Butler Patterson. Wade dedicated many years to his career with McKenny’s and was a proud member of the local 72. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching Nascar, Georgia football and riding his tractor; but nothing was more important than spending time with his beautiful family.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Melissa Patterson; daughters Brooke Patterson and Jill Patterson Hart (Jody); son, Bryce Whitley (Courtney), mother, Runita Jane Butler Patterson; brothers, Wayne Patterson (Angie) and Randal Patterson (Lynn); grandchildren, Kaden McDaris, Alissa McDaris, Hunter Threlkeld, Jase Lord, Karissa Whitley, Mathis Lord, Roy Gene Whitley, Dylan Whitley, and Rodney Telvie Hart, as well as nieces and nephews Devan Patterson, Sierra Patterson, Caleb Patterson, Thomas Young, Jenna Hodge, and Nicole Mann.

Wade Patterson is preceded in death by his father William Telvie Patterson.

Funeral services for Mr. Patterson will be held Tuesday December 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM, Lord and Stephens Danielsville. (963 GA-98, Danielsville, GA 30633) The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Inurnment to follow at Collier Baptist Church Cemetery.
