Bogart, GA - W. Charles Huff, 79, died April 2, 2012.
Born in Clarke County, he was the son of the late Doctor Dowell and Ellen Autry Huff. He was a longtime resident of Oconee County and attended Mars Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Huff loved hunting, fishing and playing guitar. He was a devoted family man and friend to many.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST. Rev. Charles Jones and Brother Steve Bingham will officiate. Interment will be at Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Betty Huff; sons, William Charles Huff, Jr. and his wife Nona of Elberton and Tony Dowell Huff and his wife Catherine (Corky) of Newnan; grandsons, Alex Huff (Kathleen), Jonathan Huff (Katie) and Matthew Huff and granddaughter, Amanda Huff Roper (Todd).
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Southern Care Hospice.
