Tracey Darlene Yantis

Tracey Darlene Yantis, 61, of Athens, passed away on July 31, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Covington, GA, she was the daughter of Tommy Crumbley and Phyllis Hinton. Tracey owned Hometown Barber and Styling Shop in Watkinsville. She enjoyed interacting with every person in her chair, remembering every detail of their conversations. In her free time, she enjoyed riding motorcycles and visiting Panama City Beach, but nothing was more important than spending time with her beautiful family.

In addition to her husband Gary of 12 years, Tracey is survived by her daughter, Chasity Hill (Travis); grandson, Matthew Hill; parents, Tommy Crumbley and Phyllis Hinton; and sister Heather Ransom (Temu); along with several nieces and nephews.

Tracey is preceded in death by her brother Justin Crumbley and grandson Luke Hill.

Memorial services will be held for Mrs. Yantis Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Lord and Stephens West. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:30 immediately followed by the memorial service.
