Tony Lamar Bell, 67, of Comer, died on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
A lifelong resident of Oglethorpe County, Tony was the son of Sidney Ralph Bell and Shirley Booth Bell. He worked mainly as a truck driver for Boswell Oil Company. He was a member of Collier Baptist Church. In his younger days, he loved cars and drag racing, but later in life he lived for his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He was a big cut-up who loved to make people laugh.
Along with his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his son, Derek Lamar Bell, and his brother, Tim Bell.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Lynn Bell; their son, Shane Bell (Ali); his sister, Teresa Boudway (John); grandchildren: Devin Bell, Macy Bewley, Brynlee Bell, and Carson Bell; and great-grandchildren Skylah Bell and Dawson Bell.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 17 at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 18 at Collier Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m.
