Tommy M. "TJ" Johnson

Tommy M. "TJ" Johnson, 67, died Thursday, August 13, 2015. A native of Athens, he was the son of the late William Paul Johnson and Hilda Bradley Johnson. Mr. Johnson retired from the Athens Clarke County Fire Department as a Lieutenant after 25 years and worked part time delivering for Frances' Florist. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Diane Hancock Johnson of Hull; daughters: Buttons Tommie (Dank Chapman) Johnson of Carlton, Tonya Johnson (Derrick) Anderson of Colbert; brother: Danny (Robin) Johnson of Hull; grandchildren: Blake Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Chase Anderson, Blake Anderson, Jarrett Paul Moore, Payden Mack Moore, Mallory Diana Anderson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel. Burial will follow Hull Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday, August 14, 2015 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the March Of Dimes.
