Tommy Arnett Green Jr., 46, of Danielsville, Georgia, passed away at home on October 10, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Port Charlotte, Florida, on October 12, 1976, he was the son of Tommy Arnett Green Sr. and Laura Green. Along with his parents, he is survived by his five children: Destiny Van Burkleo (Charleston, South Carolina), Isaiah Green (Young Harris, Georgia), Isaac Green (Demorest, Georgia), Prophet Green (Benicia, California), and Prophecy Green (Benicia, California); grandfather: Myzell Smith (Arkansas); one sister: Toi Watson (Demorest, Georgia); and two nephews: Malik Green (Danielsville, Georgia) and Liam Watson (Demorest, Georgia). Tommy was preceded in death by one son: Tommy Arnett Green III; grandparents: Willie Green, Miles Ingersoll, Phyllis Ingersoll, and Mary Neal Smith.

Tommy worked as an assistant manager at Goodwill for many years. He loved watching sports and was an avid Oakland Raiders and Golden State Warriors fan. Tommy was a hard worker and pushed his children to always be uniquely themselves. He always told his children, “DO YOU.” Having grown up in a military family, Tommy moved to many different states and spent nine years of his childhood in Europe. Of all the places Tommy lived and visited, his heart belonged to California. He attended school in the following locations, Berlin Germany, East Point Georgia, Ft Campbell Kentucky, Grafenwoehr Germany, Vilseck Germany, Ft Irwin California and graduated in Jacksonville Florida. Tommy’s name was published in “Who’s Who among American High Schools Students.”  Tommy played soccer from the age of four throughout his childhood. He ran track in high school. Tommy was a passionate volunteer for conservative causes in Marietta Georgia, where he resided and worked for many years.

Memorial services are Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Lord & Stephens, Danielsville Chapel with Father Avery officiating. The family will visit from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
