Todd Edward Harris, born on April 10, 1962, passed away suddenly on the morning of September 18, 2025. His family is beyond shocked and are grieving this incredible loss.
Todd was a loving husband and a deeply devoted father. His greatest joy came from celebrating the milestones and accomplishments of his children. He watched with pride as his two oldest graduated from the University of Georgia—something he once swore would never happen when they first moved to the Athens area, given his lifetime devotion to the Florida Gators. This past May, he also proudly watched his youngest son walk across the stage at his high school graduation before heading off to college.
A true “Flo Grown” , Todd loved deep-sea fishing , seafood, and the beach. He also cherished time in the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina, where many of the family’s most treasured memories and adventures took place.
In his career, Todd had an extraordinary work ethic at Elesa USA Corporation. But above all, Todd will be remembered for his faith, love, and values he instilled in his family—teaching them to chase their dreams with passion, to stand strong in the face of challenges, and to never fear what others might think. Todd was both a steady source of comfort and quiet support, always cheering from the background with a smile. He never sought the spotlight, but always present.
Todd is survived by his wife, Carol, and his three children, Natalie, Nicholas, and Tyler. He will be missed beyond measure.
As the immense sorrow of losing Todd is still unprocessable, plans for a memorial at this time will be postponed until a future date when grief is less raw for family and friends. The family appreciates all prayers, compassion, and memories of Todd.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Todd’s honor to Friends of the Smokies (friendsofthesmokies.org), an organization dedicated to protecting and preserving Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
