Tina Carol Turpin, 48, wife of Michael Turpin, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
A native of Winder, GA, she was the daughter of Wanda McDonald Echols and the late Ralph Stockton. She was also preceded in death by her grandmother: Mellie McDonald; step father: Ernest Echols and step brother: Herbie Echols. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Tina was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister that will be greatly missed. We Love You!
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include two children: Megan Epps and Brandon Turpin; brother: Jeff Stockton; step sister: Lisa Echols; grandchildren: Briley Epps, Connor Epps, Tanner Epps, Alison Turpin and Hunter Turpin.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Revs. Jonathan Evans and Wayne Powers officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
