Timothy Wilson Johnson

A memorial service for Timothy Wilson, “Will” Johnson, who died Friday at his home in Athens, will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, December 6th at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Will, the son of Hank and Sharon Johnson, was born September 14, 1980. He grew up and attended schools in Oconee County and studied accounting at Athens Technical College. He was employed by Accounting Concepts and Financial Services of Monroe.

Survivors include his father, Hank Johnson, and stepmother, Becky Rohbeck of Athens; his brother, Ben Johnson, and sister-in-law, Lari Johnson of Statham; sister-in-law, Jennifer Johnson; nieces, Ada Johnson, and Chloe Johnson; a nephew, Jacob Johnson; and several aunts and uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Johnson, and his brother, Drew Johnson.

Will loved music, the Georgia Bulldogs, his cat “Bugs”, Jr. and a close - knit circle of friends, some of whom he shared many life experiences dating back to pre-K days in Oconee County.

Will’s family would like to acknowledge the friendship, support and love of his employer and mentor Pam Rowland.
