Thurman Steven Lott, Jr.

Thurman Steven Lott, Jr. passed away on October 25, 2025. Born on August 31, 1954, he was the son of the late Thurman Steven Lott, Sr. and Dorothy Spires Lott.

Steve Lott was a man whose kindness and spirit touched everyone who knew him. A tireless worker and a devoted family man, he poured his strength and love into everything he did. He was immensely proud of his daughters and grandchildren, and he never missed a chance to brag about them to anyone who’d listen. He never met a stranger, and everyone he encountered soon felt like family, welcomed by his warmth, humor, and easy smile. He had a tender heart and always had a story to share, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him. His unmistakable laugh, boundless kindness, and the love he gave so freely will be remembered always.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Hunt Lott; sister, Connie Lott Romano.

Survivors include his daughters, Susan Stancil (Martin) and Stephanie Lott (Joshua); granddaughters, Mary Martin, Sarah, and Anna, and grandson, Jeremiah; siblings, JoAnn Lott Finley and Gary Lott.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens West, Watkinsville.
