Thomas "Tommy" Franklin Daniel, Jr.

Thomas Franklin Daniel, Jr. (Tommy), 75, died March 17, 2022.

A lifelong resident of Oconee County, he was a son of the late Thomas Franklin Daniel, Sr., and Nellie Lee Daniel.  Tommy was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, was formerly employed with American Linen and retired from Southwire – Watkinsville.  He was a prior member of Elder Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Diane Dawson Daniel; sons, Thomas F. Daniel, III (Tara) of Danielsville, Kevin Daniel (Tonya) of Bishop and Clay Daniel (Candice) of Crawford; grandchildren, Turner Daniel (21), Daisy Daniel (16), Jill Daniel (13), Skylar Suarez (13), Annora Daniel (4) and Anniston Daniel (2); brother, Walter Lee Daniel of Statham.

The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens West, Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 12:00 until 1:30 PM.  Graveside services will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park at 2:00 PM.
