Thomas "June Bug" Howard Meeler Jr.

Thomas "June Bug" Howard Meeler, Jr., 80, of Winterville, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Born in Athens, he was a son of the late Thomas Howard Meeler, Sr. and Katie Mae Burkhalter Meeler. Mr. Meeler retired from the University of Georgia where he worked as an Automotive Mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Irene Woods Meeler.

Survivors include his son, Terry Meeler; siblings, Becky Meeler, Janice Helton, Brenda Dove and Jimmy Meeler; grandchildren, Kurt Meeler (Christy) and Kyle Meeler; great-grandchildren, Knox, Kaymon, Alston, Ainsley and Ava Grace and great-grandchild, Madi J.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, West. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
