Stephens, GA - Thomas Alton Tucker, 88, died September 27, 2005.
A native of Oglethorpe County, he was the son of the late Ezekiel D. and Hennie Mae Lester Tucker and widower of Lorene Dellinger Tucker. He was retired from Wilkins Industries.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 2:30 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST. Interment will be in Winterville Cemetery.
Survivors include his children, Winnie Tucker Fox of Harrisburg, NC, Alton Tucker of Crawford, Virginia Moore of Union Point, Lona Ellen Tucker Saville of Maysville, Dianne Jones of Danielsville and Tracy Tucker of Maxeys; sister, Henrietta Martin of Hull; brother, Paul Tucker of Hepzibah; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
