Teresa Ogle Prather

Teresa Ogle Prather, cherished wife, mother, nana and sister, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 1, 2024 at the age of 66.
A lifelong resident of Oglethorpe County, she was a daughter of the late Paul Ogle and Mamie Callaway Ogle. Mrs. Teresa enjoyed being outdoors, specifically taking trips to the mountains or gardening and she was quite crafty with needlepoint and embroidery. She absolutely adored her family and thrived on time spent with her beloved granddaughter. She was a longtime member and faithful attendee of Grove Chapel Church.
Survivors include her husband of almost 46 years, Larry Thomas Prather; children, Tiffany Wells (Joe Miller) and Rusty Prather (Alicia); granddaughter, McKenna Wells; siblings, Phyllis Christian (Sam) and Randy Ogle (Karen) and nephews, Kevin Christian (Brittany), Eric Christian (Marianne), Clint Ogle (Clarisse) and Clay Ogle (Jenalee).
Graveside services will be Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11:30 am at Grove Chapel Church Cemetery.
