Teresa Kathryn "Kathy" Moon, of Athens, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 27th, 2026.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Vivian J. Bradberry and Curtis Bradberry, and her brother, Mike Bradberry.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Melvin Moon Jr.; her daughters, Nikki Moon Anderson and her husband, Dr. Christopher Anderson, of Waleska, Georgia, and Melissa Moon of Athens, Georgia. She was a proud grandmother to Finn and Emery Anderson and Hayden Hardegree, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is also survived by her sister, Karla Johnson (Arlen); her brother, Scotty Bradberry; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8, 2026 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Lord & Stephens, East, 4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA 30605. The family will have a Celebration of LIfe, Saturday, July 11, 2026, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Winterville Community Center, 371 N. Church Street, Winterville, GA.
