Ted Lamar Nelms

Lexington - Ted Lamar Nelms, 72, husband of Audrey Nelms, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Born in Athens, he was the son of the late B.J. and Ruby Porterfield Nelms and was preceded in death by sons Teddy and Steve Nelms. He was a member of Crawford Baptist Church and served his country in the US Army.
In addition to his wife, Ted is survived by his daughters: Tami Floyd, of Lexington, Debbie McFalls, of Winterville, Susan Rogers, of Winterville, Cindy Couch, of Elberton, Cathy Nelms, of Athens; brother: Ed Nelms, of Augusta; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11AM, Friday, February 16, 2007 at Crawford Baptist Church with Rev. David Shiver officiating.
