Sue Manley, 82, died December 5, 2013.
A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late William Matthew and Annie Sue Fortson Roling and was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, John Austin Manley; son, Timothy Wayne Manley; brother, Buford Roling and sisters, Carolyn Lester and Gaynelle Mize.
Mrs. Manley was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church and retired from First American Bank of Athens after twenty years.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her children, David Manley, Michael Manley and Debra (Steve) McElroy, all of Athens; sister, Catherine Ayers of Athens; brother, Kenneth (Maryann) Roling of Crawford; grandchildren, Christopher McElroy, Kyle McElroy, Michael Manley, Jr., Elizabeth Manley, Elissa Danforth, Farrah Hill, Timmy Manley and Nathan Manley; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Grandsons and great grandson will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 am until service time.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
