Sheila Gail Shelton

Sheila Gail Shelton was born on November 24, 1947, in Athens, Georgia. She passed away on January 1, 2026. Sheila dedicated her career to nursing and worked at Athens Neurology. She graduated from the University of Georgia and received her nursing degree from the Medical College of Georgia.

Sheila was known for being an avid reader. She enjoyed books and sharing stories with those around her. She is survived by many cousins and their families.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Herschel Shelton and Mary Elizabeth Silver Shelton.

A graveside service will be held on January 4, 2026, at Sliver Martin Family Cemetery in Comer, Georgia. The service will begin at 2:30 PM.
