Sara N Sorrow

Sara N. Sorrow, 95 of Comer, GA, passed away March 29, 2025. 

She was the daughter of the late Emory Gordon & Emily Booth and the widow of Henry Talmadge Sorrow. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Lewis Booth; grandson, William “Bill” Brittain; and stepdaughter, Linda Annete Brittain.

Sara was a longtime member and a Sunday School teacher and was very active at Meadow Baptist Church. Services are Tuesday, April 1, 2025 1:00 PM at the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville with Rev. Mike Sarna officiating. The family will visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The interment will be in Meadow cemetery. 

Survivors include: Brothers and Sister, Larry “LM” (Mary Ann Garrett) Booth, Glenn W. (Brenda) Booth, and Harriet Clements; stepdaughter, Brenda Booth and a sister-in-law, Ann Booth; step grandchild, Robert David Brittain; caregivers, Kay Meadow and Karen Moore and several nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Meadow Cemetery Fund.
