Athens - Mrs. Sara Dell Carter, 79, of Athens, died March 31, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dellmar and Eddie Kelley Dillard; and husband, Emory Carter. Survivors include children, Diane Gilbert, Dreta Hayden and Dana Carter; four GC and five GGC. A private service will be held later. Donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, 1660 Jennings Mill Road, Bogart, GA 30622; Lord and Stephens East Chapel.
