Winder, Ga - Sara S. Bolen, 55, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 23, 2014.
A long time resident of Stone Mountain, GA, she was the daughter of the late Ellis Daniel Sikes and Claudia Carter Sikes.
Survivors include her daughters: Amy Bolen of Winder, Elizabeth Bolen of Savannah; siblings: Ed (Marilynn) Sikes of Charlotte, NC, Janet (David) Sikes Tanner of Roanoke, VA and two grandchildren: Shayna Bolen and Simone Bolen.
Sara was a great cook, enjoyed music and being outdoors, loved her family, and was a wonderful grandmother.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Tuckston United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Lord & Stephens, East is in charge of arrangements.
