Sandra Jeanne Pharr, 63, of Athens, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Pharr is survived by her mother, Mary Bruce Pharr and brother, Roger Howard Pharr, Jr. Sandra was a graduate of Georgia Southern with a degree in Journalism. She had worked for the Brunswick News and Darien News as a journalist. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of the United States.
