Sandra Kay Bridges Nicklow

Sandra Kay Bridges Nicklow, 80, of Oglethorpe County, Georgia, passed away on April 20, 2023. Born on December 7, 1942, she was the daughter of the late George Lamar Bridges and Katie Lou Brown Bridges.

Except for three brief years in Pennsylvania, Kay was a lifelong resident of Oglethorpe County, Georgia. She attended Oglethorpe County High School and retired from UGA. She was of Baptist faith and most recently attended Corinth Baptist Church. Kay loved her grandchildren and working in her flower beds.

Kay, you are loved by us all and will surely be missed. See you on the other side sweetheart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lowell Davis; daughter, Meghan Davis; brother, Lamar Bridges, Jr.; sister-in-law, Sheryl Bridges.

Survivors include her husband, James Clifford Nicklow; daughter, Kristan Davis; son, Philip Davis; grandchildren, Laura Abney, Nicholas Abney, Caleb Davis, Conor Davis, Alyse Davis; step daughters, Nicci Moore, Heidi Fleming, Megan Charping.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 2:30pm at Crawford Cemetery with Wayne Phillips officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Kay may be made to Corinth Baptist Church at 2040 Belmont Road Arnoldsville, GA 30619.
