Sandra L. Smith

Sandra L. Smith, 82, died January 7, 2025. 

Born September 26, 1942 in Madison County, Sandra was a daughter of the late M.A. “Pete” Faulkner and Geneva Smith Faulkner Allgood and was also preceded in death by her husband, Nick George and a grandson, Kicz Maxey. She retired from Escoe Industrial Contractors after many years. 

Funeral services will be Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Carlton Baptist Church with Revs. Douglas Ivey and Lee Adams officiating. Sandra will lie in state from 1:30 until 2:30 PM. Interment at Old Fork Cemetery will immediately follow the funeral service. 

Survivors include three children, Aleta Nalley, Chris (Shelly) Smith and Letitia Smith; sister, Annette (Jimmy) Blackmon; brother, James R. (Lydia) Faulkner; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
